Well, this is my last night in Iowa. Funny how I can't sleep.

This past day felt strange, especially compared to the week that preceded it... though that was pretty strange too. I'm sure the upcoming holiday will feel strange as well, given that it will be the transition between what basically amounts to two different chapters of my life.

Ah well. I just hope the next chapter is written better than this one was.

Though I still don't see how that pertains to treating a piece of fudge as sustenance equivalent to a proper meal, which is a bad idea regardless of gender.

On a less pointless note, I'm currently getting things in order for the move. Sunday was my last day of work, and the 23rd will be my last day in Ames. I can't honestly say I'll miss the place very much.
